So here goes my story *drum-roll*
The morning started amidst bridal prep
The make-up artiste and her team arrived armed with a trunk full of skin perfecting magic and the signature ring-light.
How could i forget the bride personally requested for a make-up free picture, because she can actually slay without make-up too!
...and like drops of dew dropping to create a dreamy morning, friends and relatives came to greet the beautiful bride
On the other side of the coin, the groom was at the holy ground sealing the Islamic aspect of the wedding ceremony which is called the "Fatiha"
The dreamy morning had already finished it's shift and made way for the calm afternoon sun to shine which casted a soft golden glow. Just the amount of glow enough for the bride to sparkle outwardly as her inward joy was beyond obvious!
The bride changed into the second outfit of the day gracefully
The reception already started, and the bride radiated with joy as she was serenaded by family and friends, enveloped in hugs and good wishes from all angles.
Imagine all your favorite people showing up for you, now below is a visual representation of the joy of family, which by the way is one of the best gifts any bride can receive on her big day;
The Asoebi was colorful with even more vibrant faces rocking it
Amidst the clinking of glasses and the rhythmical movement of cutlery on enamel, i whisked Amarya Da Ango (Hausa for bride-and-groom) away for THE PORTRAIT.
The party continued;
Hours later, it was time for the TRADITIONAL HOMECOMING of the veiled bride.
This is when the bride gets to leave her parents' home and move to her husband's home, accompanied by friends and family.
The bride and her friends were quite emotional, and it was so beautiful!
SAUDAH & ABDUSUFYAN'S wedding story was beautiful, and we wish them peace,love,and joy in their new home!
